My quest for suitability and modularity when it came to a cheek piece for my SAR-8's solid stock led me
to a custom, self composed piece of equipment. My prototype is made from stainless steel which was
somewhat of a headache to work with, but I did get it done. The version offered on this site will be made
of aluminum. Aluminum is totally adequate for its intended function to support a cheek piece. Its height
will be adjustable, and the big thing for me is that it is removable with just a few twists of the wrist. You
have an option to use your scope with your cheek piece, or without and use your open sights. When the
cheek piece is tightened in place, it's not moving. This platform is totally stable! The mount is sold by itself
or a cheek piece can be attached to it for you.

Removable Cheek Piece Mount for HK Retractable Stocks
Made from high impact plastic, this mount solves the no-cheek-weld problem for scope mounted rifles
equipped with retractable stocks. Can be quickly detached to allow for stock retraction. Is offered alone
as a mount, or a cheek piece can be fitted with attachments that facilitate removal.
