Picatinny
rail mounted on original fore end stock for Heckler & Koch 90 series
rifles.
This service alleviates the problem
of replacing an original part from your rifle just to mount a
vertical
fore grip, light, or laser
sight. It is also cost effective considering the price of the original
part that came
on your rifle, and the purchase of
a fore end needed to replace the original featuring picatinny rails.
This
starts to add up into
hundreds of dollars quick! You will also lose your factory bipod option! This
service
provides a very, very sturdy
semi-permanent mount, and is suitable for another bipod mounting option
if
one so chooses
[You never know!]. As the customer, you may supply your own picatinny rail
with a
personal length (preferred),
or, I can provide one for you. Recommendation is to supply a 12" rail
for
HK91, and 10" for HK93
rifles. The rail must be a blank (with no pre-drilled holes), at
least 8 1/2 inches
in length for a 91, at least
5 3/4 inches in length for a 93, and at least 5/8" thick x 1" wide. I
only
offer this service for
aluminum picatinny rails at the present. I wouldn't recommend steel
myself, but,
again, you never know.

All-steel mounting components are utilized. Mounting bolts and nuts are 1/4" high quality stainless steel.
Spacer washer nut is high quality parkerized steel. Medium, blue Permatex Loctite secures nuts to prevent
loosening over time.
